  • Yes. With having your brand in place, we will have the colors, fonts and design elements to build your site from the ground up.

    Branding is the first phase for any web design project. The web design phase can start in parallel with your branding.

  • Yep! Squarespace allows you to connect your existing domain name to Squarespace. If you don’t have a domain name yet, we recommend purchasing it through Squarespace when you set up your account.

  • Yes, yes, and yes! We can make all of these functions (plus some) happen.

    Squarespace has the capabilities to host your blog, gather newsletter sign-ups, house your online store, offer an e-course, and even sell a subscription service.

  • Photography needs depend on niche. For instance, a website for a lawyer would have less photography needs than an a website for an online boutique.

    The web design process includes resourcing brand-specific stock images. However, having your own photos rather than using stock photos would be ideal. We’re happy to research and suggest a photographer in your area to get started with.

    Pro Tip: Share your Brand Book with your photographer so they can get the overall vibe of your brand and the style you’re going for before the shoot.

  • Squarespace has very affordable hosting options that range from $16 to $36 a month. The price may vary depending on the features you need for your website, but we typically suggest the Business or Basic Commerce Plans to our clients.

    If you’re looking for a Shopify or Wordpress site, pricing is dependent on the scope of the project. Contact us for a custom quote.

  • You will need a paid subscription before starting with the design process. If you need help with this, just reach out!

  • At the end of the project, we will train you how to make content changes so you can do that as needed. 

    If down the road you would like more involved changes (like page layouts, adding a feature, etc.), we suggest booking a Design Day to tackle those needs all at once.

  • To best serve our clients, we stick to what we do best, which is design. However, we’re more than happy to help you lay out the site’s information. (This is often called “site map”.) If you’re looking for a copywriter, let us know and we will send you a list of trusted pros.

  • The website design process varies based on the scope of your project. However, the web design process can typically take anywhere from 2-5 weeks. It is very important to have all your content and photos ready before we begin. This will make the design process go smoothly and as fast as possible.

  • Our policy has always been to take on only a small number of clients at a time to ensure quality and dedication to each project. We generally book 1-3 months in advance.

    To claim your spot, a 50% retainer is due to initiate the project. From there, the remaining 50% is due when your project is completed and your site is ready to launch. The site will be live and ownership will be transferred to you once the final payment is complete.
