I build websites on Squarespace or Shopify, depending on what makes the most sense for your business. My goal is to give you a website that’s powerful, flexible, and easy to manage without needing a developer every time you want to make a change.
More than 90% of my client websites are built on Squarespace because it’s user-friendly, affordable, and offers a ton of integration options, from Acuity and OpenTable to email marketing, e-commerce, and automated workflows through Zapier. It also gives us plenty of flexibility to create a website that feels completely custom to your brand.
For product-heavy or e-commerce businesses, Shopify may be the better fit. Either way, we’ll choose the platform that supports what you need now and where your business is going next.

Branding is the first phase for any web design project. The web design phase can start in parallel with your branding.

Yep! Squarespace allows you to connect your existing domain name to Squarespace. If you don’t have a domain name yet, I recommend purchasing it through Squarespace when you set up your account.

Yes, yes, and yes! I can make all of these functions (plus some) happen.
Squarespace has the capabilities to host your blog, gather newsletter sign-ups, house your online store, offer an e-course, and even sell a subscription service.

Photography needs vary depending on your industry and the kind of website we’re building. A law firm, for example, may need far fewer custom images than an online boutique or product-based business.
As part of the web design process, I source brand-appropriate (non-cheese) stock photography where needed. That said, custom photography will almost always make your website feel more personal, polished, and distinctly yours. If you don’t already have a photographer, I’m happy to help you find someone in your area who fits your brand and budget.
Pro tip: Send your photographer your Brand Book before the shoot. It gives them a clear sense of your overall brand, visual direction, and the look and feel we’re creating for your website.

Yes. Writing copy is often one of the speed bumps of the website process for many business owners. However, it happens to be one of my favorite things about the process and one I’m happy to take off your plate.

Squarespace has very affordable monthly or annual hosting options. The price may vary depending on the features you need for your website, but I typically suggest the Business or Basic Commerce Plans to my clients.
If you’re looking for a Shopify or Wordpress site, pricing is dependent on the scope of the project. Contact me for a custom quote.

At the end of the project, I will train you how to make content changes on your website so you can do that as needed.
If down the road you would like more involved changes (like page layouts, adding a feature, etc.), I suggest booking a Design Day to tackle those needs all at once.

The website design process varies based on the scope of your project. However, the web design process can typically take anywhere from 2-5 weeks. It is very important to have all your content and photos ready before we begin. This will make the design process go smoothly and as fast as possible.

My policy has always been to take on only a small number of clients at a time to ensure quality and dedication to each project. I generally book 1-3 months in advance.
To claim your spot, a 50% retainer is due to initiate the project. From there, the remaining 50% is due when your project is completed and your site is ready to launch. The site will be live and ownership will be transferred to you once the final payment is complete.
